Here's What I've Heard

Here's What I've Heard is a serialized audio documentary that investigates family stories through one-on-one interviews and careful research. During Season One, we'll explore the tragic accident that claimed the lives of 24-year-old Gerald Kline, 21-year-old Linda Kline and 15-month-old Theresa Kline. Through years of research and with help from family members, Gerald and Linda's granddaughter, Courtney, has carefully pieced together the bigger picture of what happened on the Avenal Cutoff on November 6, 1965—and the events that transpired after the fact. The podcast is produced by Courtney Abud and Craig Brown, two copywriters working out of Austin, TX. For sponsorship information, please contact us by emailing theteam@hereswhativeheard.com.

    S1E2: Gerald "Jerry" Kline

To his schoolmates back in Annville, PA, Jerry Kline seemed to vanish out of thin air after 1958. He isn't seen in the yearbook past the tenth grade, and since he was a quiet guy to begin with, nobody really went looking for him. Decades later, they're shocked to hear about his death. In Episode Two of Here's What I've Heard, we interview classmates and family members of Jerry to get a better idea of who he was as a person, and the events that led to his so-called disappearance.  HUGE thanks to our new patrons: Leah Rossi, Laura Weaver, Jen West, and Tom James! We absolutely couldn't do this without your support. Want more Here's What I've Heard?
