King’s newest novel, PICK THE LOCK, hit shelves in late September – introducing readers to the surreal and thought-provoking life of Jane Vandermaker-Cook. King is one of YA fiction’s most decorated and also writes middle grade fiction as Amy Sarig King. She’s taught for a decade in MFA programs, is the founder of Gracie’s house, and spends a great deal of time traveling to meet with students and educators about literacy and mental health.
