The movie might have 5 directors and be an utter mess but Orson Welles does a magic trick just for us and Woody Allen goes to hell for being a creep weirdo so it’s actually better than reality. Thunderball

After taking turns each having to push the recording back a week, Dia and Jackson are here to cover the 1965 James Bond movie: Thunderball. It goes on forever, half of it takes place underwater with everyone in scubing gear, but Terrence Young is back and thank god because he can actually frame a shot.

Goldfinger

CW: Frank discusson of a very blatant rape scene. It’s unavoidable when talking about this movie, and it sucks a lot, so just be warned going in. Dia and Jackson return after two mostly great times with Connery’s turn as the world’s greatest colonialism cop, to watch Goldfinger, the most successful Bond movie of its day, a worldwide phenomenon and template for the rest of the series. There’s just one small problem: it’s a fucking terrible movie.
