As a government minister resigns and more Conservative MPs speak out over the prime minister’s top adviser Dominic Cummings, will Boris Johnson carry on standing by his man? We hear from Rev. Martin Poole, whose question over family lockdown fines seemed like it might prompt the government to look again at the issue.

Cannot recommend enough

So good to have the Brexitcast team back again, much better than the wall to wall election coverage during which nothing much seems to actually happen (oh for the days of John Prescott, bees just aren’t the same). Was missing their intelligent analysis so much, just spent three days listening back to them since the last election: a (slightly hysterical) fall down the rabbit hole of bad temper, government incompetence and klaxons. Plus now I remember why we are here, again!

Informative entertainment

A real pleasure to listen to! As a disenfranchised expat living in France, unable to vote in an election that could literally decide my future, I am a podcast-junkie. I have to say that Electioncast and Brexitcast are my favourites. Clear, unbiased information, cheekily witty banter, scintillating presenters and the perfect balance of humour and technical details explained to perfection (loving those binders!) A hearty “well done!” to the whole team and my personal thanks for helping me keep up with events in the UK.

Fun and informative

My favorite podcast - absolutely essential listening. I love the informal repartee together with informed comment. Has anyone considered that TM was habits diabetic low sugar moment when she appeared at the podium the other night? I understand diabetes type 1, if you are subject to a very low sugar moment you become very belligerent and impervious to all reason! Whatever one thinks about TM the stresses and strains must be enormous and make regulation of her sugar levels incredibly difficult!
