Exceptionally researched and focussed podcast

As a European who has recently left North America, I feel a strong need to keep up with US centered news. This podcast is led by amazing journalists who play an increasingly important role in a society. As our world becomes plagued by social media giants that profit from non manicured often deranged content, I raise a toast to all the brave and hardworking New York Times journalists who uphold the values of transparency and democracy. Your work is fantastic. Keep up the great work.

A good show, but I skip Sabrina’s eps

Longtime listener, always enjoyed this show. As a European resident, this show reliably keeps me connected to my home’s biggest news stories as well as breaking international stories.

Please, someone, anyone, please help Sabrina improve her hosting skills. After several years, I still find myself barely able to listen to her episodes. Her contributions are all either choppy jokes, rhetorical questions, or paraphrases of what her guest has just said with no added information or even different framing….

The best news podcast

I listen to a large number of news podcasts (US and non-US), and this is undoubtedly the very best one that I know. The episodes are always very well researched and clearly presented, with all the right questions. The choice of the main covered story somehow systematically manages to be highly interesting to me! That’s the genius of superior storytelling. An absolute must!
