Welcome to the 52nd episode of The Mental Breakthrough! My guest, Ty Amsberry, is an old friend and former student from my time as a mixed martial arts instructor. We reconnected recently after he saw a video of my jungle home in Thailand, and today we catch up on the many changes life has brought us. 

Our conversation spans decades of experiences, including my journey from teaching martial arts in the U.S. to settling in Thailand—a journey marked by a few twists, including my deportation from the Philippines and time in Korea. Ty and I both now find ourselves focused on family, raising sons and creating fulfilling lives. Ty shares his perspective on fatherhood as a stay-at-home dad, and we discuss the balance of responsibility, purpose, and daily life that parenthood brings.
