In December 2014, Katja Faber received the news every parent fears most. Her son Alex, 23, had been killed. Chilling details emerged in the months that followed: her son’s killer had been his university friend Bennet – the son of an ultra-rich art dealer – who had brutally beaten Alex before murdering him. The killing took place on Zurich’s Gold Coast – a place of extraordinary privilege, just like the killer’s upbringing. But even more extraordinary are some of the revelations that have since surfaced about Bennet, his history, and the cat-and-mouse game he continues to play with the authorities to this day. (In)Justice - Killer Privilege , hosted by London Standard journalist Katie Strick, takes listeners on a journey around the world as Katja Faber seeks justice for her son. It is a story of traumatic grief, the psychology of wealth, and how power and privilege can intersect with the justice system – with often terrifying consequences. This is a production from Message Heard and The London Standard. Listen to Killer Privilege exclusively and ad-free on Wondery+. Join Wondery+ in the Wondery App, Apple Podcasts or Spotify. Loved the podcast but hated those people

Loved the podcast but hated those people who went/go hunting as a pass time. Disgusting entitled individuals who despite all their Swiss worldly education somehow manage to remain incompetent and deeply out of touch- they rule our world really really badly.
Enlightening story about grief
A harrowing story centred around a mothers loss and fight tor justice for her son and her personal transformation through grief. Katja Faber, mother of Alex, who lost his life to a most horrific homicide is truly awe inspiring. Katja is clearly a super intelligent person and it was extremely interesting (and very painful) to listen to her insightful thoughts on the experiences of losing a child. Something that is little discussed in society, much to the detriment of people who go through it, due to its taboo nature and our societal fear of death.

Heartbreaking and what an amazing woman. An excellent piece of journalism too. I hope Katja has some peace.Justice was not served. Take a look at the killer’s LinkedIn profile, smug and entitled.

And compelling!
Repetitive

Seems to go down the route of repeating the same thing over and over as though we have no memory and have to have constant recaps. Also took about 10 minutes before it actually started .
