Today Anthony concludes his two-part history of the Great Irish Famine with the help of special guest Professor Christine Kinealy, Director of Ireland's Great Hunger Institute at Quinnipiac University.

Amazing podcast!

Brilliant storytelling! The hosts having brilliant chemistry together. You can tell they put a lot of effort into making these episodes. Can’t wait for each new episode ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

A current favourite!

I love this dark, yet still lighthearted, take on history. The hosts feel fresh and modern rather than listening to a stuffy old professor. I find it quite funny that it has been given some bad reviews for being “woke”! Leave us little snowflakes to enjoy this podcast and go listen to one of the many, many conservative, dull history podcasts out there….

Brilliant Podcast

The hosts and guests really bring the characters in history come to life. Its refreshing to hear the passionate love of history coming from such an accessible angle. Often it can be stuffy and dull but not at After Dark. I only wish the podcasts were longer. I could listen to them talk history for hours. Well done.
