Raving Madam ,

My favourite Tudors podcast

This is my favourite of all the Tudors podcasts, the scholarship is outstanding and the investigations are wide-ranging, there is an intimacy about the sound medium which really helps us to pass through portals into forgotten worlds. One of my favourite episodes was the mudlarking episode, mudlarking was a completely new thing to me and I really felt i was down by the river Thames looking for Tudor treasures. Through this podcast I’ve come to know Tudor places and artifacts really well and it all adds to the excitement of actually going to museums, galleries and houses and seeing things for real, but I have also gained valuable insights into the Tudor way of living and cultural beliefs. Highly recommended.

One of the best podcasts around

I came across this podcast about a month ago and can’t stop listening. It is so enjoyable and full of good historic information. Thank you Natalie and thank you to all your guests. You have a big fan here

A hidden gem

I know it is a bit premature to say I love this podcast after listening to just one episode...but I love this podcast! I am already an avid fan of all things Tudor and this just sparked so much curiosity and interest! Would definitely recommend listening to “Episode 116- Elizabeth I with Dr Estelle Paranque”.
