Enjoy the longer discussions and lectures

And dip into the shorter pieces (although interested enough to wish they were longer).

Prefer the pure ‘history’ pieces to other discussions but that’s my personal preference. Most interested in focus on Tudor and Hanover periods. Enjoyable, accessible and for the most part really interesting.

Certainly helped pass the lockdown - hope there’s more.

Eavesdropping on history

Susannah Lipscomb, Lucy Worsley, Hilary Mantel aka the Muses of History (amongst other famed historians) ravish the ear with stories insightful, profane and utterly gossip worthy, all which took place in our glorious historic palaces. This is certainly the best & most exciting of historical podcasts.

Any fussy-knickers rattling on about sound quality really ought to get their priorities straight - the sound is fine, the content superb.
