The Dudleys: The Family that Shook Tudor Court
When it comes to families entwined in the intricate web of Tudor court affairs, none captivate me quite like the Dudleys. From Edmund Dudley to John Dudley, and finally Robert Dudley, their saga unfurled across the entirety of the Tudor era.
Today I welcome back in this revisit episode, Dr. Joanna Paul to discuss the topic of her book, The House of Dudley.

Customer Reviews
Ring a ring o’roses - pity about obvious inaccuracies
Black Death episode. The original rhyme makes so much more sense! Maybe worth checking non American sources…
Ring-a-ring o’ roses - referring to marks on the skin
A pocket full of posies - they used to carry flowers around for the scent to try and ward off the evil smells
A-tishoo! A-tishoo! - sneezing.
We all fall down - self explanatory
Interesting but short
Really enjoy this podcast only downside is I wish the episodes were longer.
Oh no - mistakes do happen
Oh no, Rebecca! I don’t think you should have ever aired the episode with Andy McMillin 🤦♀️ on Dowry etc.
Grossly incompetent is an understatement. Cringeworthy and tragic.
This episode brings down your otherwise fabulous podcast to a very, very low level.
Quality over quantity, please!
