Akimbo: A Podcast from Seth Godin
Akimbo is an ancient word, from the bend in the river or the bend in an archer's bow. It's become a symbol for strength, a posture of possibility, the idea that when we stand tall, arms bent, looking right at it, we can make a difference. Akimbo's a podcast about our culture and about how we can change it. About seeing what's happening and choosing to do something. The culture is real, but it can be changed. You can bend it. Accessible mentoring - that’s how I hear this podcast and pretty much all of Seth Godin’s work. Incredibly generous and encouraging while, without apology, challenging you quite firmly by prodding where it hurts. There just aren’t many people who can do that successfully in public. Dude’s a rock. My reflection is that it could be quite draining to be seen as that person every day which only increases the generosity of this offering.
Highly recommend

I’ve just read Seth’s book ‘Tribes’ and loved it. Don’t listen to or read Seth’s work if you’re after the ‘3 super specific things you need to make more money now’ kind of advice. Seth talks about ideas that encourage you to think differently/bigger. He makes you do the work and figure out the answers for yourself. My plan moving forward is to read his books and then use the podcast and blog as reminders and to fill in any gaps. Thanks Seth!

The world of web development moves so fast and Syntax is the best way to keep up to date. Over time I have developed a really good understanding of the most concepts thanks to Wes and Scott! #flexingwiththeboys
