I took the plunge
Excellent podcast. I gave up drinking alcohol 20 months ago for my health and well being. I did the research, got inspired, chose a day and had my last drink. Although it was challenging at times in the beginning I have been amazed at how every area of my life has improved as a result. As a 42 year old woman it has taken me this long to realise alcohol does not enhance ANY situation. I was so conditioned from age of 14 to drink alcohol the hardest thing was unpicking all of the lies surrounding drinking. Now my emotions good and bad feel authentic and not heightened or depressed by drinking.
