“One of the pieces of advice I got that I really struggled to take on and accept is that you need to get any project you are working on (whether that is a yoga studio, podcast, hedge fund) to be 80% done and then you need to ship it, you need to put it out to the world. Then you move on to the next project. Essentially, you should get a B grade in anything you do, and that might sound scary. The important is to get it to a place where it is GOOD ENOUGH!”

In this episode I am talking to the talented Cora Geroux and she triggered some important unresolved perfectionism tendencies in me 😱 We are talking about personal yoga practice, the business of yoga, how you can only teach things you have struggled to learn and the importance of the GOOD ENOUGH effort.
Cora has been working in the wellness industry for over a decade. She spent the first ½ of her career doing the group-class-hustle as a yoga teacher, and later expanded into creating and leading yoga teacher trainings and being the co-owner of multiple yoga studios in Sydney, Australia. She now helps yoga teachers, wellness practitioners and creatives learn the business skills they need to share their personal brand of magic with the world. Cora is the host of the Teaching Yoga podcast and founder of The Teachers Club. She has also obtained a BA in psychology from Simon Fraser University and is a qualified life coach. If you want to connect with her you can find her on Instagram @corageroux or find more information about her work on www.corageroux.com. If you are a yoga nerd and want to deepen your practice I warmly recommend her awesome podcast https://www.corageroux.com/podcast .
With love,
Aleks💕
