The Introverts Chat Podcast

“Why are you so quiet”?

Let me guess,

You get asked this question A LOT.

Somehow, our society thinks it is no problem to ask this question, but,

If you flick the switch & ask why someone is so loud,

Then it is not acceptable.

Not fair, isn’t it?

Just because you are more into the quieter side, this does not mean that you are rude or shy.

Just because you love spending some time in solitude, this does not mean you do not like socializing or you are a sensitive person.

While these might ring true for some, these are not what introversion is.

In Today’s episode, we are going to debunk the most common misconceptions about introverts, and, how to not let these define how your life is going to look like.

Meet our guest today, Sam Dhu, a psychotherapist and a passionate advocate for being radically kind and compassionate to yourself.

As a highly sensitive person Sam believes it is possible to be deeply ambitious and successful, AND soft and sensitive at the same time.

Listen here where we talk about:

✅ How to not let these misconceptions define who you are & what you do.

✅ The differences between introversion & other personality traits.

✅ How honoring your needs is a key to creating your own version of a full, inspired life.

And lastly but not least, Sam shares with us a tip on how to handle that most annoying question that we often get asked: Why are you so quiet?

I hope you love this episode as much as I love recording this for you

Happy listening!
