The 6 part series on the creating of Israel out of the post Ottoman Palestine, is nothing short of masterful. Both the Zionists and the Arabs are presented in a way that explains why, to this day, no resolution seems possible or likely. But the series finishes on a positive vision of what the first step to resolution would look like. I also learned a huge amount I simply didn’t know, not least about the foibles (and violence) of British colonialism. Just starting the Epstein saga which, so far, is equally jaw dropping. All history is stories and here we have a master story teller.

This guy sounds plausible but the more of his stuff you listen to, you begin to realise most of his episodes are full of padding ( his imagination) and , what one could charitably call “ inaccuracies “. Best avoided as these podcasts are more accurately described as dramas based on fiction/ imagination…he lacks any credibility. Great fiction but totally unreliable as fact.

A real must for anti-Zionists and masterfully done by expressing skin deep non-bias. Ultimately, it examines history by relying on anti-zionists perspectives, sources and interpretations. If you wish to educate yourself in a balanced non-partisan manner - avoid. Otherwise, enjoy.
