Superb

Enjoyed this Story / Podcast immensely from start to finish. Bringing the dairies to life was really well done by all , especially Saul Wordsworth. What an interesting and fascinating story . Saul’s music through out was so cool and blended with the spoken words.

Chris Porters voice is outstanding, could listen to him all day.. what a beautiful voice he has. He really did a marvelous job here.

Give this a listen you will love it.

Struggled

I should have realised in episode one that I was going to struggle with this podcast because my mind kept drifting and I had to keep rewinding it. I plodded on but the same kept happening, plus I found it difficult to listen to the antics of a narcissist toddler posing as a man. I found myself loathing him. There were various plummy English voices and I couldn’t keep up with who was who - elderly siblings, cousins, godparents, the poor friends who had had to tolerate this man.

I also hated the music.

I think I would have stuck with it if it had been presented differently. The story didn’t flow for me. I carried on until episode six but five minutes in I found myself drifting again so I finally decided that life was too short to keep rewinding something that I was struggling with, so I just deleted the lot.

Having said all that, I can see why some would find it interesting so I suppose it’s worth a try.

Fascinating story

A really interesting podcast that delves into a fascinating life story and a father/son relationship. Thought provoking and a wonderful insight into a complex character. Definitely recommend.
