Doctor Who: Running Down Corridors

Filthy, funny and great.

This is purely based on the first fifteen minutes of the latest ep, so maybe it’s a bit like tuning into Emmerdale for the first time after it’s been on for 47 years and not understanding how everyone in a country village is related or why all the women have shiny hair, but … The news of the latest Who blu-ray release was met with showy indifference. Some titbit about Comic Con immediately led a snide comment about how great Russell T Davies apparently thinks he is. Rogue? It didn’t meet the expectations the panel had of it based on the trailer. It felt joyless and smug as if the people talking regarded the subject matter as somehow beneath them. Maybe I coulda/shoulda listened longer, but God knows there are no shortage of Who podcasts out there and I’m looking for the ones who can enhance my enjoyment of the show, or at least make me laugh.

It's fantastic! The presenters are lovely, funny, interesting and informative.

Really enjoy this. I hope Martin is healing well, because I miss the show.
