Exploring what it means to be faithfully Christian in our always-changing world with its challenges and opportunities. I like to think out loud and talk with friends about biblical texts, books, politics, sports, music, films, and basically anything that interests me. This is all an attempt to be fully alive in God’s good world and to enjoy the liberating reality of the Christian gospel.

Fantastic podcast

This is just such an interesting podcast, full of engaging and original insights often focussing on the nature of contemporary Evangelical church culture and how it relates to authentic Biblical context. Born of just the most brilliant blend of scholarship, humour and heart, this is fantastic material and will be of interest to anyone seeking to explore more fully some of the dynamic interplay between a way of life based on an ancient text and the seemingly irresistible forces at work in an individualistic, capitalistic Western culture. Absolutely love it.
