Riveting deep dive into history and society

What does it feel like to know that your world is ending? I love Paul's rich, slow trawls through fallen empires. These are shows to savour on a long walk or a drive, losing yourself in ancient, lost worlds while feeling the resonance in today's modern one.

What a find!

I have only just stumbled across this podcast. It is excellent, I have only listened to the first two episodes and I found them both fascinating. I suppose you could say that this is “Jared Diamond: The Podcast” but that is no bad thing IMHO. I am very much looking forward to catching up on remaining episodes but will try to dossify as it looks like they come out only once every two months or so - understandable given the research that must go into each.
