Before the full group of ladies returned to the farms, each farmer was able to spend 24 hours — and a special date night — with his chosen date. Once everyone moved into the farm, it was time to get to work and see what farming is all about.     Farmer Wants a Wife Season 3 has officially kicked off! The reality dating show premiered its newest season last night on Fox, and is now available to stream on Hulu. Season 3 farmers Colton Hendricks, John Sansone, Matt Warren and Jay Woods went on speed dates with eight hopeful women before each inviting five to come back to their farms. The farmers then picked one lucky lady to be the first to return to the farm for a solo date. On this week's episode we're talking about our somewhat surprising first impressions of the farmers, which ladies we think might bring the drama back to the farms and who had the cringiest speed date.

    Get Ready for the Farmer Wants a Wife Season 3 Premiere

    Are you ready for another season of Farmer Wants a Wife? Because we are. Season three of the reality dating show premieres Thursday, March 20 at 9 p.m. on Fox, and will be available to stream the next day on Hulu. This season will follow a new group of four farmers — Colton Hendricks, John Sansone, Matt Warren and Jay Woods — on their journeys to find love by welcoming five women back home to their farms. Colton is a 28-year-old cattle rancher in Mena, Arkansas. He is the dad of a 2-year-old son and dreams of having a "football team-sized family." John, 25, is a soy, corn and wheat farmer in St. Louis, Missouri. In addition to farming, he is also studying for a law degree. Matt is a 30-year-old avocado and fruit farmer in Morro Bay, California. He is a first-generation farmer. Jay, 25, farms hay and cattle in Florence, Alabama. Jay played college football at Michigan and Duke.  Members of our Lancaster Farming news team are ready to share thoughts and commentary on each episode.
