First of May

Sacha Puttnam journeys through the archive to the origin of The Bee Gees' First of May featuring in the film Melody. He talks the the producer (his dad, David Puttnam) about the scoop of getting The Bee Gees music in his first film as an unknown producer, as well as an old interview with the script writer Alan Parker. Sacha talks us through his beautiful piano and orchestral version of this timeless classic.
