Empowering all for excellence in life...

    Exercising Your Authority (Part IV)

    Exercising Your Authority (Part IV)

“I call heaven and earth to record this day against you, that I have set before you life and death, blessing and cursing: therefore choose life, that both thou and thy seed may live:” Deuteronomy 30:19 KJVS

I was pondering on the power of the choices we make intentionally and those we make unintentionally by not making a choice. I will give you an example to illustrate. In thinking about a healthy lifestyle, a person who chooses to have a healthy lifestyle will most likely be intentional about regular exercise, their diet, medical check-ups and maybe daily vitamins. They do this not necessarily because they are unwell but because they know these activities promote daily healthy living and long life. On the other hand, another person may not do anything. Now this person who does nothing may not have intentionally chosen an unhealthy lifestyle (I don’t think most people will, given the choice) however their inactivity in some ways is pointing in that direction.

I say this because I believe that as Christians, we should intentionally choose divine health, choose life, choose to be well and to maintain a state of wellness physically and spiritually that gives us a good chance to fight off any sickness or disease that may try to attack us.
