The Grenfell one
What an excellent and emotional listen. Would thoroughly recommend this one
Lacking women
I do enjoy this pod and I like James but it is all a bit of a sausage fest. Maybe James doesn’t want to meet a lot of interesting women, maybe they turn him down, but given roughly 50% of the population are women he fails miserably to get an even distribution. I think it’s improved in season 2 but is still lacking. Another pod I love is The Life Scientific and their host Jim Alkalili insists on a 50/50 split in his guests and I think the pod is better for it. So try and do better, some of the best guests James have had were women, this kinda proves a point.
Bad interviewing
I love james on twitter and his writing - but this podcast drove me crazy. So much interrupting!!!!!
