Ep.154 Donald Page - A Life in Photography - Shooting the NFL
This week we are joined by Donald Page, the official Tennessee Titans chief photographer. We chat about the path to getting a huge role like that, the friends you make along the way and how to keep going through a pandemic in a football season. We both know Donald through KelbyOne and our next podcast guest, Brad Moore.
Ep.153 Bryan O'Neil Hughes - A Life in Photography, Fast Cars, Marathons and Adobe!
We are back with an esteemed guest, Mr Bryan O'Neil Hughes, Director of Product Management & Partner Outreach at Adobe. Both Alan and myself have bumped into Bryan at many events over the past 10 years but this was the first time we all got to just chat. Bryan has spent 22 years at Adobe and we talk about his life, hobbies and how he came to be at Adobe and what he's up to today. We talk about cars, marathons, family, photography and mobile creativity. We hope you enjoy as much as we did!
Ep.152 The Lightroom Queen - All Things Lightroom and more!
We have "Royalty" in the He Shoots He Draws house! Welcome Victoria Bampton to the show, we've known Victoria since 2008 and this was the first time we actually spoke and what a joy it was to chat to her about her career as 'The Lightroom Queen' and her career in photography, but not as a photographer!
Ep.151 Tony Harmer - A Life in Graphic Design via Adobe
*Re-download for updated recording* I am genuinely thrilled to have Tony Harmer as our guest this week, Tony is one of my dearest friends, one of the most helpful and genuine people in this industry, he's a walking encyclopaedia of design knowledge and for the next 90 mins we just chat about design, life and our careers. *original version had audio issue at 20 mins - now fixed*
Ep.150 The 150th Episode - So Far, So Good!
Way back in Feb 2018 He Shoots, He Draws was born. We started as a weekly podcast and in those 159 weeks, we’ve published 150 episodes so the plan is kind of working. The show has been graced with some amazing guests, over 100 5 star reviews left on iTunes and a very loyal following listener base, a couple of thousand downloads away from 250,000 downloads from over 100 countries. To say we’re chuffed to bits is an understatement. So thank you to everyone who has listened and shared, it’s very much appreciated in a very saturated podcast market. Dave and Alan have a quick catch up before going back into some great upcoming guest interviews over the next few weeks.
Ep.149 Kladi from PrintMySoul / How To Get On In Business...F**** Up, Eat Sh** and Smile!
This week our guest is the wonderful Kladi from PrintMySoul Studio. We chat about how the path to a career, let alone any kind of success, is paved with a lot of honest f*** ups, eating sh** and smiling while all that happens. Taking crappy jobs, taking chances and never giving up - something that so many do. Kladi tells us about her personal journey and she's only at the beginning!
Fun, informative and ‘real’!
Beautifully real and the perfect podcast to listen to on my way to a photoshoot. Dave doesn’t try to be something he isn’t and he asks perfect questions to get the most from the guests on the show. Really feels like you’re sat in the pub listening to some friends talking. Highly recommended 😎
Just like a chat with a couple of mates
Dave & Glyn really make the show so that you feel like your part of a conversation with a couple mates. Never miss an episode.
Late to the party...as usual🙄
Stumbled across the He Shoots He Draws podcast in late summer 2019 and have listened to many of the back episodes whilst avidly listening to the new releases.
Safe to say it is very engaging and provoked me to think about a number of aspects of my photography business. Long may it continue!!
Thank you Dave & Glyn
