    Episode 131: Homeopathy in the Solomon Islands with Katie Emerson

    Katie Emerson has just returned from a two-week stint in the Solomon Islands where she was working with a small team of homeopaths helping train a team of 50 local people to help continue the homeopathic training that they have received for the last 100 years. In the Solomon Islands, homeopathy has been used as Water medicine. It was initially taken over by church members who used homeopathy for their own families. It soon became apparent that homeopathy was a useful form of medicine for use in the outlying villages as long as they had access to the remedies and homeopathic training.     Episode 125: Homeopathy and Coffee with Sinéad Hurley

From our group, Ask a homeopath and Homeopathy 247, we have chosen some interesting questions to discuss in more detail.  The questions this week include: If a coffee drinker (2 cups a day) stopped having coffee, has a headache in the forehead, and type of throbbing) would you recommend a remedy? Is baked nettle (Urtica) safe to eat when on homeopathy? (A day after remedy) We have a family member visiting for 2 months. The family member is using chemo tablets daily. I started reading up about shedding and using Cadmium Sulph 200c. How will I dose our family? Once a day? Are chamomile, passiflora, and valerian good remedies for an 11 month old baby for sleep. She doesn’t sleep through the night with wakings up to three or four times per night.     Episode 124: Infections and Homeopathic Prescribing with Anjum Rahmatulla

    Talking with Anjum Rahmatulla we explore homeopathy with recurring infections, strep throat and UTI infections.  We look at the homeopathic principles and prescribing methodology so that we can understand what to expect from complementary medicines when treating infections. Anjum runs a very popular Facebook Group called Homeopathy for Strep Throat, UTIs and Other Infections. We answer a number of questions from the group in a lot more detail than we are able to in the group itself.  With so many people turning now to alternative methods to maintain health and improve immunity, we need to make sure you have all the resources and information to hand so that you can achieve better results when prescribing homeopathy at home.
