Iain Dale All Talk

I just listened to Matthew Stadlen interviewing Liz Truss. I rediscovered all over again how much I like Liz Truss - but I did miss Iain’s kinder approach. Matthew Stadlen’s ‘political’ questioning made for quite uncomfortable listening sometimes, which I never feel with Iain. I’ve had to listen to this in short sections because of Matthew Stadlen’s tone. Just getting to the end now - by golly Mathew Stadlen is snide.

I have to say I throughly enjoyed, laughed and cried this morning. Your interview with Deborah Slattery was very thought provoking. Thank you.

Delusional is how I would describe Liz Truss but Matthew’s lack of economic and government structure knowledge meant he was unable to get effectively challenge her washwhite of her own responsibility as a member of the Government and Pm

In my opinion, Iain is the best political interviewers when it comes to these friendly exploratory chats. Only Andrew Neil beats him but those would be the hard hitting, scrutinising interviews, whereas All Talk is much more conversational.
