In Research Of

The show where we watch the 1970s TV show "In Search Of..." and look at possible explanations the producers didn't consider.

Whether or not you like your weird stuff, the content, insight and conversation are first class. A strong scientific narrative runs throughout, alongside some seriously quick punage, which means the shows have a value as educational episodes not just kitsch 70s nostalgia. I strongly recommend.

I’ve listened to and enjoyed Monster Talk for a couple of years now and this new series is of the same high standard. Highly entertaining as well as educational. I don’t think the original In Search of series was shown in the UK, which is a pity, as I’m sure my 7-yr-old self would have been glued to every episode. I recall the legendary Sir David Attenborough did some tv shows about mysterious beasts - which may have included Sasquatch - and we also had Arthur C Clarke’s Mysterious World. I think it was those shows, plus the Six-Million-Dollar Man’s encounter with Bigfoot, which sparked my lifelong and wholly sceptical fascination with the world of the weird. If you like those things then you’ll love Blake and Jeb’s latest offering. Keep up the good work fellas.
Excellent.

Not sure we ever got to see "In Search Of" in the UK, so I've been catching up on Youtube. Excellent podcast which provides a critical take on some of the programme's more outlandish claims. It also provides a clear warning of the dangers of 1970s clothing and facial hairstyles.
Fantastic
