    Natcon, Satanism and the BBC

    Natcon, Satanism and the BBC

Church of England vicars with a difference, Jamie Franklin and Daniel French, are back giving a spiritual perspective on the events of our age.
Daniel's been at the National Conservatism conference, which, according to the corporate media, is a far-right fascist convention. Was Daniel goose-stepping from seminar-to-seminar or was the reality a far more prosaic affair? We review some of the online hate, including Matt Hancock's physical discomfort at being exposed to a mildly conservative take on the purpose of marriage.
We also spoke about the BBC's decision to go full-on Satanist and write a lengthy article in praise of the cult of the Dark Lord. We talked at length about the dangers of engaging in Satan worship and the diabolical practices attended to it and why saying that you don't believe in Satan doesn't make it any better.
We answer an email from an adult convert seeking advice on how to prepare for confirmation and talk about much much more besides in this weeks' episode!

    Coronation Malarkey

    Coronation Malarkey

Church of England revs with a difference Jamie Franklin and Daniel French sit down to talk about the week's top stories. This time:
    - What does the coronation tell us about modern Britain and the Church of England? Was it a grand affair or simply a reminder of the divided nature and lack of identity within our society?
    - David Starkey once again courts controversy by saying that Prime Minister is "not properly grounded in our culture".
    - Fraser Myers and Andrew Bridgen face off on GB News over the safe and effective treatment and related issues. Who won the debate?
    - A surprisingly large amount of Canadians would like to see homeless people euthanised by the state.
And much much more as always!

    Is the Countryside Racist?

    Is the Countryside Racist?

Church of England vicars Jamie Franklin, Thomas Pelham and Daniel French get together to talk about the big stories in culture and the church:
    - Is nature racist? We give a comprehensive answer to this perennial question as Black2Nature seek to "take back" the countryside.
    - It's been 55 years since the abortion act and over 10,000,000 abortions have been carried out in the United Kingdom since then.
    - Women's cycling is the latest sport to be ruined by transgender ideology as Austin Killips wins the Tour of the Gila.
    - The Church of England families report says that all families must be supported regardless of their makeup and that single people should be supported as well. So that's everyone then?
    - Evangelical superstar vicar Mike Pilavachi is accused of inappropriate and damaging behaviour by a number of young men.
That, an email about how we should disagree with each other more, and many other things besides!

    Revenge of the Establishment

    Revenge of the Establishment

Church of England vicars Tom Pelham and Jamie Franklin get together to discuss this week's topic stories and talking points:
    - Should there be ducks in baptismal fonts? You decide.
    - Revenge of the Cathedral as Tucker Carlson is out at Fox News.
    - Diane Abbott seems to have the lost the plot in racism gaffe debacle. Is she the victim of a cancel culture that she has helped to flourish in these days?
    - GAFCON, an organisation representing 85% of the world's Anglicans, have met and decided to formally reject the leadership of the Archbishop of Canterbury over his support of gay blessings. We discuss.
A little bit more on Matthew Parris after my somewhat irascible riposte (https://thecritic.co.uk/the-problem-with-parris/), a question the rev on Christology and so much more as always.

Humpasorus ,

Amazing podcast

First rate podcast. Insightful discussions of current affairs and how faith can play a vital role in today’s world

Sacred Phill ,

A breath of fresh air!

Great to hear faith and current affairs discussed in a way which is not in thrall to the spirit of the age.

Once Lost - Now Found ,

Good content overshadowed by rudeness

Topics covered are highly relevant. However, some of the attitudes and language used are not what the Lord Jesus would want His disciples to use. Criticism does not need to stray into rudeness… Praise God for His abundant forgiveness for all who trust in the Lord Jesus. Good podcast for people who want to hear two vicars chat extensively and somewhat meanderingly about important topics.
