    • Health & Fitness

Is Stress good for us? Are you building resilience in your daily routines?
Are you one of the 80% who have dysfunctional breathing patterns?
We dive deep into conversation with Kevin O’Neil who is the founder of Breatheolution. He has helped thousands of clients through breathwork, cold exposure therapy + self discovery.
Frequent exposure is linked to so many physical health benefits. But we are interested by how much in fact it helps us mentally with building resilience within. Kevin has helped thousands to overcome anxiety, trauma + addiction.
Today we are going to dive deep into talking on the breath, child to adult development through breath, dealing with anxiety, the importance of nose breathing + so much more. We even do 2 breathing exercises coached by Kevin such as the anchor breath. Breathing is vital to life but learn to breathe right and you can unlock greater levels of fitness and health than you ever imagined possible.

“Breathing is far more than just breathing, it is life force to body and mind!”
Did you know that some stress is good for us!
It can help us mentally build up resilience to our external environment when we start to find comfort in the things we once found uncomfortable. In order to build resilience we need to step outside of our warm comfort zones + stress the body. Through facing the stress such as the cold you will face your shadow, inner vulnerability + face the trauma. Kevin teaches us how important it is to understand our biochemistry.
KNOWLEDGE IS POWER!
Covering Trauma | Addiction | Loss | Depression
Your breath can help you defeat your own stressors.
Kevin talks us through trauma + how it is connected to physical stressors + specific environmental factors that are unique to you. Your breath was present during your trauma, even if you were holding it at the time which is very common. And the best way to face trauma is to arouse what put it there in the first place, reconnect to these environmental factors involved at the time. Often talking about the past is not enough. We need to feel more into our bodies!
Changing your biochemistry through the breath + the cold can change the acidity of your blood in a few minutes. Such a fascinating topic!!
