066 Enneagram & Grief Twos, Threes & Fours With Monique Scripp

066 Enneagram & Grief Twos, Threes & Fours With Monique Scripp

This is our third installment of our special series all about the enneagram. If you have never heard of the enneagram, it’s simply a personality typing tool that helps us to better understand ourselves and others. And this series has been incredibly helpful at exposing how we are all different and therefor grieve differently. There are 9 enneagram types and for each type we are answering a specific set of questions, including, what might this enneagram type look like amidst grief as well as how can we best love someone who is this enneagram type and is grieving. Monique Scripp, a certified enneagram coach is our expert who is walking us through this conversation and answering all my questions. This week’s episode we are specifically discussing enneagram types 2, 3 & 4; what these personalities might look like amidst grief and how we can love someone who is this type and has experienced the loss of a baby.

Again, this series of episodes is so helpful at being reminded that we all grieve differently and helps us to better understand how we might be grieving or how someone we love might be grieving. I pray this tool will helpful as you navigate this season of grief.

If you are just jumping into this series I would encourage you to listen to Episode 64 where Monique gives a helpful overview of what the enneagram is and why this tool can be especially helpful to a grieving mother or to those who love a grieving mother. And if all this enneagram talk has got you wondering what your enneagram type is I recommend reading The Road Back to You by Ian Chron and taking Monique’s free test over on her website www.moniquescrip.com.

065 Enneagram & Grief: Types One, Nine & Eight with Monique Scrip

065 Enneagram & Grief: Types One, Nine & Eight with Monique Scrip

This is our second installment of our special series all about the enneagram and grief. Maybe you have never heard of the enneagram or maybe you have read all the books, either way this series is going to be incredibly helpful in growing our understanding of how we all grieve differently as we take a look at this personality typing tool. The enneagram gives us compassion for ourselves and others as we grow to understand ourselves and those around us in a deeper and meaningful way-- something that is so important in grief.

In today’s episode I am talking with Monique Scripp, a certified enneagram coach about Enneagram types 1, 9 and 8 and specifically what these personalities might look like amidst grief. She walks us through a description of each of those types, what they might look like in grief, what they might struggle with that is specific to them and their unique personality. We also talk about how to best love someone who is a 1, 9 or 8 who is walking through the loss of a baby.

This series of episodes is so helpful at being reminded that we all grieve differently and helps us to better understand how we might be grieving or how someone we love might be grieving. So, if you are a grieving mama who has felt misunderstood in your grief or felt as though you no longer really understand those closest to you or even understand yourself. I pray this tool will provide an avenue for better understanding this season of grief and loss.

If you are new to the enneagram, are curious about it or even a skeptic make sure to listen to Episode 64 where Monique gives a helpful overview of what the enneagram is and why this tool can be helpful amidst grief. If you are unsure what your enneagram type is I recommend reading The Road Back to You by Ian Chron and taking Monique’s free test over on her website www.moniquescrip.com.

064 Enneagram + Grief + What Is Enneagram With Monique Scrip

064 Enneagram + Grief + What Is Enneagram With Monique Scrip

You’re listening to The Joyful Mourning Podcast Episode #64. This week we start a special series all about the enneagram. Maybe you have never heard of the enneagram or maybe you have read all the books, either way this series is going to be incredibly helpful in growing our understanding of how we all grieve differently; giving us compassion for ourselves and others as we grow to understand ourselves and those around us in a deeper way.

Throughout this series I will be talking with Monique Scrip, a certified enneagram coach. She will be walking us through each of the 9 enneagram types, what they might look like in grief, what they might struggle with that is specific to their type and how to best love someone who is that type and is walking through the loss of a baby.

In today’s episode we start with an introduction about the enneagram. Monique helps us to understand what the enneagram is, what it isn’t and how it’s different than other commonly known personality typing tools. She gives a very helpful overview of this helpful tool and even does a bit of impromptu coaching for me.

This series of episodes is for you if you are a grieving mama who has felt misunderstood in your grief or felt as though you no longer really understand those closest to you or even understand yourself. I pray this tool will provide an avenue for your relationships to grow in depth and value as you gain a better understanding of how each other is processing and navigating this season of grief and loss.

So listen in if you have ever been curious about the enneagram or if you are skeptic about all this; or if you are just interested in knowing what enneagram type I am and her thoughts about my specific blind spots. But mostly listen in if you are a grieving mama who is hoping to better understand your grief, how you are processing loss and how to better understand the way those closest to you are processing their grief as well.

063 Christmas Week 04 - Hope For Grieving Mothers With Ashlee Proffitt

You’re listening to The Joyful Mourning Podcast, A Christmas Series, Week 04

    For to us a child is born, to us a son is given;
and the government shall be upon his shoulder,
and his name shall be called
    Wonderful Counselor,
    Mighty God,
    Everlasting Father,
    Prince of Peace.
    Isaiah 9:6

To know Him is to love Him and to love Him is to trust Him. No matter what.

In this 4 week Christmas series we will get to know Jesus, the one we celebrate at Christmas by studying the names He is given in Isaiah 9:6 — in order that our hearts would love Him and trust Him despite the hurt and brokenness we may feel today.

The first title or name that the prophet Isaiah gives to this child who would be born is “prince of peace.”

What does that title help us to understand about who He is?

What does that mean for us today as hurting, broken mamas?

SASF55 ,

Thank you❤️

I have found these podcasts so so helpful in the grief of losing my babies. Thank you providing a space for grief.
I was wondering more about heaven, what the Bible reveals about heaven and wether I’d be a mother in heaven and my babies would know I’m their mummy?
Anyway thanks again x
