Khandaan- A Bollywood Podcast

I enjoy chuckling along with the hosts when they revisit the older movies . Those early 90’s movies we all watched but so rarely get talked about. But please please please review Ek Ladka Ek Ladki ..... it’s such an overlooked gem. I would listen to this over and over!

I actually discovered this podcast by accident a few years ago. These guys know exactly what they’re talking about. Great concept. Very entertaining. Asim, Sujoy & Amrita make a great team. Got me through the pandemic & other hard times. Thanks guys. Shad Miah AKA smokingShad.

I’ve started rewatching the films to get more from the podcast. Very engaging hosts, especially Asim. Amrita is a little grating at times... the same oft repeated comments of disdain towards Aamir & Amitabh are stale now but is otherwise a good host alongside Sujoy. Would love a Discord server where we could all chat about Hindi films old and new. Would also like a Letterboxd list where they rank the Khan films as some hold up whilst others, which were loved at the time, have real toxic masculinity issues when viewed with modern eyes... would help guide newer viewers to some of the older catalogue of films. Enthusiastic and engaging overall.

Good mix of characters as per hosts and the guests. Asim - Salman and Amir* fan as host is the fanboy of the group. Sujoy - Banter Brigade. Amrita - clearly not a khan fan as that makes the podcast funny as she tears into each of the khans (specially Amir). Pitu is the best guest, needs to be on more and with even worse films to review if possible.
