#02 Penny Power OBE – What is your Money Story

Let’s Talk Money and More

In this episode with my guest Penny Power OBE, we will be discussing, how Penny and her husband Thomas grew ‘Ecademy’, a community of business owners to 650,000 members, across 52 countries, in the days before Linkedin and Facebook. The business had to close in 2012 and Penny openly shares this painful experience in order for others to learn how you can grow and rebuild from adversity.

Penny is an entrepreneur, Public Speaker, Author, and Community Builder. Mother of 3 Adult children and married to Thomas Power for 31 years

Penny believes in “Community-led Business Growth’, her belief in business has always been highly personal and underpins this with the awareness that it requires a strong emotional and mental foundation to ensure success.

In 2020 Penny and Thomas launched an exclusive Business community for ‘experts’. Business owners have decided to focus their lives on a skill that will have an impact on others. The community, called BIP100, reflects their beliefs in ‘small intimate groups’, ensuring intimacy, privacy, trust, and support for business owners, where they can grow and support each other with strong values of kindness. The BIP100 Group will close for applicants when it reaches 100 members
