Blessed Solanus Casey - A Reflection
Light from Light is back with a short reflection by Br Thomas Thérèse OP on the wonderful Blessed Solanus Casey. Bl Solanus was a Capuchin friar who lived a humble life of service to all who came to him for help. He was, as the Capuchin Master General at the time of his death said, “an extraordinary example of a true Capuchin and a replica of St. Francis.”
Bl Solanus has much to teach us about the Christian life, showing us we can bring the presence of God to others. His feast day is celebrated on the 30th July. Blessed Solanus Casey, pray for us.
