Michele Guinness

Back Story

Brought up in a practising Jewish family, and married to a retired Church of England minister, Michele Guinness worked in the UK media for many years. She retired to concentrate on writing and speaking and regularly contributes to local radio, and a number of magazines. She has also written thirteen books. Her only novel, Archbishop, a thriller, set in 2024 tells the story of the UK’s first female Archbishop of Canterbury.

She chats about Christmas day at the windows, a first date wedding proposal, a sense of deja vu at the Norbreck Castle Hotel, an embarrassing TV interview with a miner plus inviting and hosting Sir Ken Dodd for an event at a children's hospice.
