386 episodes

Chuck Bryant of Stuff You Should Know sits down with your favorite people to talk about their favorite movies. Simple enough, but what we get is much more than that. It’s a look at what makes a favorite thing, and why someone’s favorite movie says so much about who they are. More conversation than interview, Movie Crush, at its heart, is about the love affair we all have with the silver screen.

Congenial

Long time listener of SYSK but recent convert to Movie Crush. I’ve smashed about 5 episodes in two days and have already rewatched Magnolia on account of the episode. I’m a fan! I like that Chuck takes time for his audience to get to know his guests. The chats are very warm, personal and totally charming.

A Great Community

Listened to the show from day one. It was a joy to watch it grow and sad to see it end, but I’m sure it was the right call for Chuck and the team. Like so many great podcasts, the “theme” is really just a jumping-off point for fascinating personal discussion. Chuck and Noel always brought the laughs, and through their personable style, we as listeners really got to know and love both them and the assortment of guests. The greatest testament to this show’s success is the wonderfully supportive online community that came from it and continues to thrive.

Love this so much!

Thank you so much for this podcast it’s fab! Love it, love it, love it! Only one thing… the trailing off and mumbling at the end of the things you both say! Please don’t do that because I miss what you say 😢
