An insight to the great man, who like us, was flawed.

David himself in many interviews said himself that he had done things he was not proud off. Does that overshadow the legend he still is? No. His life was played out for all to see, our lives are not so on show so the world doesn’t get to see our flaws. He did an interview with his brothers about a road trip they took and it sounded like a two week therapy session. I saw David in concert when I was 16 at Wembley, then again in time and twice at Hammersmith Apollo when the decline was becoming apparent. He wanted his voice to be heard but the audience wanted him to sing. I have discovered cds I didn’t know about so have new music to play. I play my cherish album purchased in 1975 and get comfort for when the needle sticks at the same place. The joy of vinyl. Pattys57
Gutter snipe unnecessary disrespectful and just plain tawdry.

Totally unnecessary. Character assassination. Of an icon who isn’t here to defend himself.
