    Fashion & Psychology with Shakaila Forbes Bell

    Following on from the previous episode of OH MY DAYES: What are we wearing? I had to dive deeper into world of fashion psychology to get more answers about how we can take control of our fashion choices so that we communicate effectively with the outside world. Only way to do this was to sit down with Shakaila Forbes Bell, Fashion Psychologist and author of Big Dress Energy. It’s the only interview of this series and its a good one.     How to get into presenting...

    At first glance this episode may seem likes it not related to fashion, but since we’re getting to know each other better now, you’ll know that of course I’ll find a way squeeze it in! In this episode of OH MY DAYES: What are we wearing? I take you on the journey of how I got where I am now as a presenter, specialising in fashion. I talk about the route I took, the mountains I climbed, how I leveraged opportunities and some of the harsh lessons I learned. Being that hype girl, that wants to see you win, I of course share with you the steps I follow if I was just starting out in the world of presenting.  Please do keep in mind that my journey is far from over, I’m sure I’ll have plenty more mountain’s to climb, especially if I want to fill my pockets with positive presenting experiences. However I’ll probably need a pair of mens jeans to get the most out of my pockets. I’d break it down and give you all the steps I would follow if I was trying to break into the modelling industry today.     Wanna be on top?

    So it’s a debut episode of OH MY DAYES: What Are We Wearing? and I wanted to kick things off with a topic that I would assume that I’m most known for and that’s my journey on Britain’s Next Top Model and America’s Next Top Model: British Invasion. It over a decade since I appeared on these hit reality shows and I still get questions about the audition process, my relationship with girls and how I found the overall experience. So I’ve done my best to answer all of those questions right here.  I mention that I’ve done a whole bunch of reaction videos to various episodes of America’s Next Top Model and interviewed some of the girls from my season.
