Well done Jason and to your Podcast team. Every episode is powerful, compassionate, gentle, engaging, heart warming and joyful (& emotional too) to listen to. As a nurse of 30+ years and whom lost my own father to cancer when I was 24, I have thoroughly valued, learnt and feel counselled (30+ years late) and helped by you Jason during these wonderful podcasts.
Powerful and so, so helpful!

At first this may seem that your committing too much time to listening to very sad stories, but within minutes of the first episode you'll change your mind! These powerful and personal accounts not only entertain you with real human humour, they also give really helpful advice for anyone facing bereavement or loss - and help those of us who are lucky enough to still have our parents / children / loved ones - prepare for inevitable. I've been to a Marie Curie Hospice and they are wonderful warm places - and they've managed to capture their expertise and welcoming nature in a podcast! Thank you Marie Curie! Make sure you give it a listen - I for one am very excited for more episodes!
A really interesting listen

Really enjoyed listening to all these episodes. The guests all have their own stories - sometimes poignant, sometimes humorous. I found them all really interesting. It’s got me thinking about my family and how we have approached the deaths of our loved ones, and what we could do better in the future. Talking really is the best place to start.
Open and honest

Jason’s voice is very soothing and calming he obviously is a very experienced practitioner but always listens and doesn’t interrupt the guests. He is able to ask the guests questions whilst making them comfortable enough to share with us very personal experiences. I look forward to each episode coming out and listening to Jason and his guests.
Moving and insightful

I loved how much Adam shared, we need these conversations x
One for the curious

So very interesting how each person has a completely different perspective on the subject of death and how this is formed by their very different experiences. I was really surprised by the tone of the conversations given the sensitive topic, but the host clearly did an incredible job keeping the guests, and in turn me as the listener, feeling comfortable. Subscribed after the first episode.
This will make you cry, but in the best way

Just stumbled across this great new podcast! Marie Curie talk to celebrities about their experiences of losing someone. It’s a tough listen and gets very raw and honest in parts but despite the subject matter the episodes managed to leave me feeling so warm and hopeful. It’s so important that we get these things out in the open! The Dustin Lance Black ep in particular really resonated with me and my own experience of grief. His words are definitely going to stay with me.
