Sean Couturier hires a new agent, and Steven Stamkos is a free agent!
It’s a Tuesday-Newsday for Bill, Charlie, and Kelly on today’s episode, with several different headlines dominating the NHL and the Philadelphia.
After Sean Couturier‘s agent spoke out against John Tortorella’s treatment of his client, and some pretty poignant words by Torts in response, Captain Coots has now hired a new agent. What does it mean for his tenure in Philadelphia and relationship with his head coach?
Plus, the speculation begins! The Tampa Bay Lightning were eliminated by the Panthers on Monday, perhaps ending Steven Stamkos’ time with the franchise that drafted him.
We’ve also got a Stanley Cup Playoff update, and a little Matvei Michkov discussion!

Plus, the mailbag question of the day: the potential to land Leon Draisaitl or any of next year’s (2025) class of free agents.

BSH keeps me connected from the U.K.
It is difficult following a sports team when you live in a different continent.
However, BSH (and all the shows they being out each week) has kept me connected to the feeling around the city and the ups and downs of being a Flyers fan.
The chemistry between the hosts' Bill, Charlie, Steph and Kelly makes the show (alongside the elite hockey analysis) and always makes me laugh.
Give Flyperbole a listen too, hilarious and Steve is a top host.
I’ve been listening for years now.
If haven’t listened yet what are you doing with your life, subscribe, now!
Keep up the awesome work, it’s really appreciated, Hugh.
Win all of the games, and then the Stanley cup
Excellent podcast for followers of the flyers. All presenters are good but Charlie steals the show with his knowledge and insight. Only criticism is you don’t always have to start the hot takes with “so”. Technically a sentence shouldn’t start with that word.
