A Necessary Listen
As a white teenager who has been spurred by the recent developments in the blm movement to educate myself further on black issues today, this podcast is incredibly helpful. The stories, personal and news related, backed with interviews and evidence along with statistics have given me many new perspectives. This is a human issue and I implore you to listen. Hear the stories and fight for change. Check your privilege, educate yourself so that you can speak up and have your voice mean something. Thank you for educating so many people.
Essential listening for enlightenment
Very moved by the latest episode discussing the wrongful deaths of Ahmaud Arbery and Breonna Taylor. As a Brit I often don’t understand nor appreciate how American history in particular how the civil war shaped false theories that have expounded and continue to perpetuate racial divide and discrimination. Thank you for the enlightenment and look forward to hearing more!
Imperative listening
I love this pod and it is a highlight of my week. I have learnt so much and been so inspired by Brittany, DeRay, Clint and Sam . Thanks for your great work in educating, inspiring and keeping us all informed. It is very much appreciated.
