    Time to Crossover

    “The hour has come for the Son of Man to be glorified” John 12:23 What happened in this scripture for the hour to come? What caused this pivot point in the life of Jesus, which changed the course of all our lives and of all history forever more? We have reached this same cycle of revival this weekend, a significant time in our lives as followers of Jesus: The Passover Celebration. Position yourselves with Jesus who went to the cross as the Passover Lamb, but arose the Lion of Judah! God is calling us out of seasons of limping into leaping; fruitlessness into fruitfulness, hard times into harvest time, and from death into life!     You Have Authority

    God never works outside of His word Psalm 115:16 “The highest heavens belong to the Lord but the earth he has given to mankind (sons, children of Adam)” and Genesis 1:28 God blessed them and said to them, “Be fruitful and increase in number; fill the earth and subdue it. Rule (have dominion) over the fish in the sea and the birds in the sky and over every living creature that moves on the ground.” In order to have authority, Jesus had to come as a human! (Son of Adam) God never undermines his own authority! God never controls or manipulates! Hallelujah! All Authority is delegated. From a study of ‘exousia’, there is: Personal Authority (private, self) Positional Authority (public, seated with Christ, sphere of influence) Principal Authority (power demonstrated, supreme, government of Christ, the Church!) Three stages of authority: Fill - Subdue - Rule. God’s Word (destiny) - Human Response (action) - Our Authority (heaven and earth) Vision - Function - Mission Know your authority in the Lord. Walk out on His word and live the way He intended you to.     Overcoming Fear

    Trevor Baker, Sunday 7 April Teaching from John 21 You are never alone. Even in your failures and mistakes, Jesus is with you. He is not afraid to confront you because he wants to correct and bring change. Don’t let your failures stop fellowship. Grow in integrity, where inferiority is impossible. Fear will cause you to walk in lack of power. Fear will cause you to see the waves higher than faith. Overcome fear and inferiority to stand on the space and promises God has called for your life. God is bringing an end to the old nets you used to drag around; the old ways an old patterns. Let go of the old to the embrace the new.     No More Nails

    No More Nails! Reading John 20 resurrection account with an accurate / original tenses: Now - the first day of the week. Mary Magdalene comes early to the tomb, dark it still being, and she sees the stone having been removed from the tomb. She runs and comes to Simon Peter and to the other disciple, whom Jesus loved, and she says to them: “They have taken the Lord out of the tomb.” Therefore Peter and the other disciple and were coming to the tomb. They were running now the two together, and the other disciple ran faster than Peter and came first to the tomb. And, having stooped down, he sees lying there, the linen cloth. Comes then also Simon Peter, following him, and entered the tomb, and sees the linen cloth lying there And the handkerchief which was upon the head of him. Folded up and in place… Resurrection is not just in the past, but an urgent and active narrative we are called to live in! How can we live in the resurrection today? 1 - Read The Word of God like never before! 2 - Jesus is seated because the work is completed! 3 - We are seated in Heavenly places, not in public spaces! 4 - Don't give up your seat! Live in the power of resurrection by remembering: The stone is rolled away God moved it, not us! We can't complete a completed work The grave clothes are folded Leave behold old identities and incorrect self-image There are no more nails Wounds can be healed, scars are testimonies of victory God is calling your name today.
