Advent, Part 1: The Advent Collect
In this week's Wednesday Reflection, Rev. Ian Greenwood discusses the start of Advent and what it means for us today. As a time of preparation in the church calendar advent is about us being prepared for Christ's birth, celebrated at Christmas. Advent also reminds us of Jesus' second coming too, and that we have a choice: what we do now, with the life we've been given and to be in a relationship with God to get ready for the Lord's return.
