Strangers in Space
Broader and deeper than Doctor Who... Back in the early months of 2012 we started life as the Blue Box Podcast, a small team of three (then four, then five...) people podcasting our thoughts on Doctor Who, in the classic style of a bunch of friends the microphones were just accidentally eavesdropping on during a conversation in the pub. Over a decade later, the team has expanded and so has the remit; nowadays we publish episodes approximately three times a week, and the discussion has moved on to include any number of subjects that Doctor Who fans might find themselves chatting about during the aforementioned informal gatherings. So alongside our main subject, you'll find us talking about films, and music, and politics, and other TV programmes, and more besides - and occasionally talking to special guests about their interests too. But of course, plenty of Doctor Who. Links page: https://strangersinspace.weebly.com/links.html Where to find the hosts: https://strangersinspace.weebly.com/the-team.html

…i have never listened to a podcast where the host talks so much. Its constant too. If one wrote it out, it would be one humongous block of text, devoid of punctuation, and with the occasional BUT … I I I I etc etc thrown in. What did the sixth Doctor say about “That’s an awful lot of I’s…That makes you sound like…” If i was one of the co-hosts, I’d stay at home. Or snip through his mike. Its relentless. Even when he deigns to ask one of his followers a question, the poor victim mutters half a sentence before they’re cut off by the inevitable “BUT … I ….” I want to hear what everyone thinks. The guests seem like decent sorts - when I get to hear them. The episode about Depeche Mode had me in stitches. I could have listened to the entire back catalogue by the time our host had finished telling us that he was going to tell us his story about how he got into them - those heady days when he was only into classical because that popular music was for the chavs at school or girls. Facepalm. Anyway, Ill leave it there. They won’t like it but such is life. 4/5 for some interesting topics and some cool guests. Minus 5 for everything else
Highly recommended 😀

I absolutely love this podcast and make sure to listen to every single episode (yes, I admit I might be a bit obsessed). However, I would appreciate it if the show notes were more informative. It would be great to connect with you guys on social media, but unfortunately, I don't have any information on who the hosts are.
