London-based dancer, Korantema Anyimadu, shares her time with us on this very special episode. -- Korantema Anyimadu is a London-based jazz dancer and independent curator working in heritage and the arts. In 2019, she won a Making History award from the Mayor of London for her exhibition, Plaits, Princesses, and Pink Moisturiser - an exploration of Black Hair Stories. Korantema is deeply passionate about cultural heritage, and in today’s episode we talked about her research in West African dance, her experience as a solo jazz dancer today, and her research into Black hair history.
