Great premise and world building

Caught the trailer for this podcast and was intrigued by the premise. It’s an excellent idea well executed. It captures some of the flavour of the old school Basic D&D adventures, but with a tense narrative that keeps you guessing. The random element creates some great plot twists. Can’t wait for the next instalment.

A wonderful blend of storytelling and RPG

I cannot recommend this podcast enough. Introduced to me by a good buddy of mine and I have listened to all available episodes. I can’t wait until the next release.
Combat has me on the edge of my seat and I find myself groaning when they fail in their hit rolls. This is a wonderful concept and John is doing a superb job voicing the action and has an amazing cast of voice actor’s he utilises. Thanks for all you do!

A great blend of story and game

This podcast has gripped me. The presenter’s voice is so rich, its like shea butter for your ears. The mix of dark fantasy sooty telling and OSR role playing games really works for me. I enjoy the mechanics of the character creation and the explanations of how things are being decided. The story telling is gritty and enthralling. Production values are on point. Highly recommended
