Tell Me Who You Really Are
Conversations with a coach. Tell Me Who You Really Are is the latest offering from the UK’s leading confidence coach, Jo Emerson. This completely unique style of podcasting takes the medium in a new direction as you eavesdrop on the intimacy of live conversations between a coach and her clients. Listen as this top coach works with real clients on their goals, hopes, problems and relationship struggles. Hear how the power of inquiry quickly reveals the truth of what’s behind their problems, who the client really is in that moment and how, when the client allows themselves to be vulnerable, the deeper truth of their situation emerges enabling them to face the future with a fresh perspective and renewed confidence. Blending a mixture of well known people and regular members of the public, Season One covers topics such as workplace bullying, menopause, imposter syndrome, body image, codependency and addiction. In episode three, Telegraph journalist and best selling author, Bryony Gordon, reveals her daily battles with her confidence and allows us into the nooks and crannies of her mind as she and Jo unravel the roots of her core belief that she’s bad in some way.

I have been listening to this podcast today and wow it really rings true for me on many levels. The inner voice messaging we all send our selves and how Jo helps her clients deal with that is amazing. Jo is really making a huge difference to peoples lives and with her book - Flying for beginners (which I’ve read) everyone can benefit from her exceptional coaching. Thank you Jo!

Must-listen podcast - powerful, captivating, and inspiring

This feels totally different from anything else out there. The clients—some well-known public figures—have allowed themselves to be recorded as they work through their goals, fears, and struggles in live coaching sessions. It's very intimate, and the listener is invited into the heart of that. Meanwhile, Jo Emerson's expertise and compassion create a safe and calm atmosphere. As a listener, it's fabulous (and instructive) to witness the transformative power of vulnerability and introspection; there are actionable tools for responding to the breakthroughs, but there's much to learn from the atmosphere of the sessions. The clients remind me how important it is to be open, raw, and frank if I want to grow or overcome a challenge; Jo's approach communicates volumes about being a supportive and effective listener—to set the stage for growth. Her poise is pitch-perfect and beautiful to hear being put to positive and meaningful use. You will quickly see why she's very good at her job—I think Bryony Gordon said so herself in episode 3! You're right there, in the heart of people's lives, and it's raw yet calm; it speaks to pain that offers opportunities to grow if recognised as such and addressed in the gentle, orderly ways evinced by Jo. I highly recommend this podcast to anyone looking for powerful, transformative ways to overcome challenges and embrace life.

Jo supported our Board through a full series of facilitation days and genuinely made a material difference to how we view each other, engage each other and deliver greater success together. I would recommend her to anyone…..and already have to two business colleagues. Thanks Jo
