Pod #86 - Lessons From A Piece Of Plywood

We all have things that inconvenience us and annoy us in our lives. Many times we like to play victims and think those inconveniences are caused by others. This week I talk about an inconvenience I dealt with for over 18 months because I thought my husband should take care of the problem.

It wasn't until I finally realized that I could solve my own problem, did I also realize that the I was the one causing the inconvenience - not my husband.

Come have a listen to not only hear how stupid I was for 18 months, but to also hear how you can be sure not to do the same thing in your own life.

    Enjoy!

March 2019 "A Cup Of Joel": Teach Correct Principles And Let Them Govern Themselves

March 2019 "A Cup Of Joel": Teach Correct Principles And Let Them Govern Themselves

One of the key doctrines of the church is that God has not stopped speaking to man and that The Church has an open canon where revelation is on going. This means that God can change things through His appointed prophets to meet the needs of His saints in real time.
Personally, it is how I know this church is true. I know God will not leave me alone in my day and age and will guide me and His prophets so that all I need to know to live the life God wants me to will be revealed to me.
As far as the Church goes, only the prophet, Russel M. Nelson can receive revelation for the Church and he sure has received a lot lately.
Joel and I discuss these changes today and Joel then shares why he believes so many changes are and will continue to happen.
    Enjoy!
