This might be the best of all the podcasts analysing the Jan 6th Insurrection
Evans is an experienced and excellent writer/podcaster and it shows in this production. The J6 Insurrection is so multi-faceted that it is a major challenge to tell its story. Using individual tales, Evans tries and succeeds in bringing the motivations and experiences of those involved to life. And, to his immense credit, he begins in the post-Civil War era with the story of the Hamburg Massacre in 1876: linking deep-ingrained white supremacy to J6.
Fascinating podcast
This is a great forensic retrospective on Jan 6 and so far I have learnt about people and stories I hadn’t heard before. I love the way the show uses all the footage from the day so cleverly and the music is excellent. Looking forward to listening to the rest.
