Phil is a cosmologist working on mapping the large-scale structure of the Universe with radio and optical telescopes.

He did his PHD in Astrophysics at the University of Oxford from 2010 - 2013 and is currently a Reader in Cosmology at the Jodrell Bank Centre for Astrophysics at the University of Manchester.
